Recorded live and very simply with few limitations, this
swing era style group plays and sings favorites and is fun
to listen to. You can tell they used a cheap plywood piano!
This recording is very dynamic and warm, throws a huge
soundstage and sounds real on a very good system.

Misty River is an all female acoustic quartet from
the Pacific Northwest. Misty River performs a wide variety
of Americana music from familiar folk melodies and country
and bluegrass favorites to Celtic tunes, mysterious
haunting ballads and award-winning original songs.
Northwest audiences have been captivated by this group who
support their beautiful blend of harmonic voices with
combinations of guitars, fiddle, accordion, banjo and
upright string bass.
Recording quality on their CDs ranges from
good to outstanding, and performances are right up there
among the best. If you like Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris
and the like, you'll love Misty River.
